Films dealing with the past also have a lot to say about our contemporary reality.
Following this strong premise the director managed to reconstruct memories of an unresolved past. With a deep interest in the process of research, a clever use of modern technology and a courageous approach, this film puts the unimaginable on display.

Statement-ul juriului BIEFF:

We would like to give two special mentions to two special characters who drive their films and at the same time stretch the boundaries of experimental cinema in opposite directions.

Played by compelling performers in two great films, these strong fictional characters bring into question their own existence and with it the history and indentity of the cities and countries around them.
